This week was dominated by the Municipal Council meeting, which gave initial approval to the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) Project and the new bylaw regulating the circulation of the most polluting vehicles in Sant Just. During the session, councillors also approved the municipal surcharge on the tourist tax and an agreement with the Catalan Tax Agency to manage its collection. The meeting concluded with an intervention from the support group for a young woman from Sant Just and a young man from Esplugues facing legal proceedings related to the Autumn Festival events, calling on the town council to join the case as a private prosecutor. This week also saw the announcement that Berta Martí will be the Comuns Sant Just candidate in the 2027 municipal elections, while Ràdio Desvern interviewed Gina Clavijo, spokesperson for VOX Sant Just, to discuss local political affairs.

It has been a busy week for local sports. La Bonaigua unveiled its inaugural pickleball event, featuring a free Open Play session and an American-style tournament open to different categories.
