Society
Sant Just has launched five Christmas solidarity campaigns, including food collections for Càritas, charity vouchers for Cap Infant Sense Joguina, the Solidança Circular Market, the Swim for La Marató fundraiser, and a blood donation drive on 19 December. The municipality has also opened a call to authorize a temporary churro stand, with a three-month renewable license in two possible locations. Meanwhile, the 2025 Christmas Market will fill Camoapa Square with more than sixty stalls and activities aimed at revitalizing the local economy. This week also brought the announcement of the permanent closure of Cuina Miracle, a long-standing culinary reference in the municipality, due to the personal and health reasons of its founder, Miracle Serra. In addition, the town is preparing its New Year’s Eve Party at La Bonaigua, which will run from 1:00 to 6:00 a.m. with live DJs.
Housing
The application period is now open for senior housing at the Mil·lenari complex and social rental housing through PROMUNSA, with a deadline of 9 February 2026. There are three units for residents aged 65+ (assigned by notarial draw) and one unit for people in vulnerable situations (assigned by points-based evaluation). Applications submitted between 24 December and 2 January must be filed online.

Safety
The Local Police have introduced a mediation service designed to resolve neighborhood, community, family and school conflicts through dialogue instead of judicial processes. The service is free, voluntary, and focused on improving community coexistence; citizens can request it by calling 93 480 48 48.
Culture
The Carme Malaret Creative Space has launched a Christmas initiative featuring two art baskets created from the contributions of 20 local artists, with raffle tickets in the form of ceramic miniature chairs. The draw will take place on 5 January, and the baskets are displayed at the exhibition window. The town has also published the new portal nadal.santjust.net, which centralizes the entire holiday program, including markets, concerts, family activities and major events like New Year’s Eve or the Three Kings Parade.
Regarding performances, tickets are now available for the Pastorets 2025, which return with a renewed stage proposal and five shows between 19 and 26 December. The cultural agenda also includes a conference on dehydration in high-altitude environments, organized by SEAS and delivered by Daniel Cardona Pera.

Mobility
Several upgrades have improved mobility and road safety, including a new shared pedestrian–bike path, expanded parking areas, a speed bump near the Montseny school, adjustments to the bus–bike lane, relocated pedestrian crossings and enlarged bus stops to accommodate articulated buses on the X30 line. Sant Just has also earned the RedBici 2025 Innovation Award for its rotating cargo-bike program in nursery schools, a pioneering project that promotes sustainable travel habits among families with young children.
Politics
The local group Endavant Sant Just has called a public meeting to present its stance on the waste collection tax, criticizing its fiscal impact and the municipal management model, and opening the floor to residents’ questions and discussion
